some people can get heated over some really dumb shit. it's a computer and you browse the web, play games, whatever takes up your time. if you dont like it dont use it.. but.. why browse paranoid of your mind, better yet just unplug your cable/dsl modem and you'll be 100% protected.

Not true, the sattelites will still get them. May I suggest a tin foil beanie hat too?

Plisco: the xupiter software is designed to update itself constantly, if any spyware removal tools are coded to detect it, the programmers will update it in a short notice to be impervious to the new detection. If you want to remove it, you'll have to do it the old fassioned way.

Why be paranoid when you already know for certain that you have no risk of this kind of problem? :)

Most of the OS hacks I do that prevent this shit are actualy intended for increased performance/speed, security is just the added bonus :p

Take for example the changes I make to explorer, I prevent it from indexing files and caching thumnails because when I access a directory using it, it shows up instantly, no more 30 second or so delays for directories that contain three hundred thousand files over a network. The result of this happens to fix the MP3 vulnerability, as well as a few others.

Renders faster and looks better than transparent gif.

Heres how it should look:

I've learned that Phoenix owns Internet Explorer in many areas (screenshots above is one proof, loading times at www.emulation64.com another), but I hate that Phoenix sometimes crashes when using auto-complete. Hopefully this will be fixed in v0.6. Otherwise it's pretty much perfect as far as I know.

Yeah, another bug that plagues phoenix is that all edit boxes are extremely buggy (especialy trying to select text).

Doomulation

?????????????????????????
This thing could easily integrate into other browsers if the developers put their heart into it, anyway. But ie is the only browser out ther today which has the best script support.
