Minish Cap graphic hack

Have you played Minish Cap?

Great game. One thing that stinks about it though is the Link graphic. He looks very lame. A "Link to the Past" style Link would be waaay coooler.

Has there been a graphic hack for Minish Cap ?

Well he's okay, but I guess it comes down to personal preference.

I did manage to find a graphic hack, except it's not exactly the solution.....

Maybe the guy who made this can be convinced to make a "Link to the Past" link instead of his black Link. Couldn't find any contact info though.

I think it's impossible because minish cap Link has more frame/animation then any other link, like when it's flying hanging from the cap or when he takes the cap off/on.
In order to do that , one would have to recreate from scratch every animation frame in style with the old link that does not happen in the other games.
Simply ripping the old graphics won't do it.
