Why use linux when you can hurt Microsoft more by pirating every bit of their software you can and giving it to your friends?
I seriously haven't paid for a microsoft OS or office suite since probably around 1998. (I have Office 2000 and XP. I also have windows 98se, ME *Yuck*, 2000 pro, and XP pro.
Now that I'm in college, I see more and more people that need office, so I just ask them to give me enough money to cover the cd burning; like 50 cents, and make them a copy of what they need.

actualy microsoft recently realized that piracy is earning them a bit, because people who get their software for free stick to its proprietary nature instead of competing standards that microsoft provides no compatibility for.
