I've been having a big issue as of late... It's as simple as this. I can play emulators and games with one controller but, not two... Why? Because, the second controller is being recognized as a controller... AND a XBox 360 Headphone set. So when I select two players while both are plugged and configured in lets say... Project64, then the first controller acts as the first and second controller. The second controller doesn't respond when any button is pressed!
Here are the steps I've taken with people in technical support from Sony*(VIAO)*, Microsoft, and XBox Tech.
- Start->Run->joy.cpl - To test the controllers, in both cases the first one worked, the second didn't... |XBox Controller Help|
- Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager->Human Integrated Devices->The Controller Properties - Tried to troubleshoot... Got nothing. |XBox Controller Help|
- Turn off Norton and Download Software - Didn't help at all... |Sony VAIO|
