We have seen the technology work in a controlled environment first hand and without a doubt, the Parhelia has left us with a feeling of excitement. Yes, this statement comes from a guy that games with a GF4 Ti4600.
Do know this though, Matrox clearly stated that the "Parhelia will not be [a video card] for the masses". You can count on this being a high-end card in price as well as hopefully long-term performance. Be expecting Parhelia to put you back about US$400.
