Well, what do you guys think? Any one with this problem before? I haven't heard of it (or maybe I have -- I'm not sure) but I haven't been here long, so...

I'd switch between both Azimers LLE 0.50.2 beta and Jabo's DirectSound. Both have outstanding quality of which your fast processor can cope with.

You can always update your sound drivers as well, no harm done.

It wasn't me...
I never had sound problem with mario 64 (I have some with zelda M'sM but mario64 goes perfect for me :zorro: )

Is it just me, or is the 'closing of star door' (eg before a Bowser course) sound effect wrong? It doesn't sound like that on a real N64. No sound plugin gets it right!

Could be a difference between U and Pal versions
