Making a bootable CD

Hi forks~

I want to make my dreamcast images bootable using fastboot.

but I can't copy data files from my images since it is recognized as

audio CDs when I insert them in virtual cdrom (like daemon tool, alcohol.. etc.)

Though they are recognized as audio CDs, they can be played on the

dreamcast of my friend.

any help will be appreciated.

PS. Only DOA2 LE was recognized as data CD, and I converted it successfully

???? even if they are coming up as audio cd's you should still be able to right click the virtual drive and click open then copy and paste the files to fastboot. btw, what operating system are you using. windows xp only shows them as audio cds if they are already self-bootable.

Thanks rcgamer~

I'm using windows XP.

and If I open virtual drive, there is .cda files (maybe audio tracks)

Maybe my CDs are already self-bootable? (I'll try chankast again)

Then I should change my question,

If I want to remove dummy files in my self-bootable CDs,

What should I do? (How can I extract data files?)

(I've tried several extractors(UltraISO, MagicISO) but failed)

any help will be appreciated.

you can just open it like i said and copy the files to your selfboot programs data folder then delete the dummy then rebuild the image. what game is it. just because it wont run in chanka doesnt mean it isnt selfbootable. if you get to the sega trademark screen(the screen after the dreamcast screen with the dancing ball and swirl) then its self bootable.
