would having antialiasing turned on on your graphics card do anything to make it work or not?

it works for me with the default settings. the only problem i saw was flickering where it would get a little darker and lighter. but it was no big deal. mind you i only played for like 30 minutes.

This puzzles me... my comp is like 1/4th of what you have, and MM runs fairly well... maybe it could be your graphics card, that's generally the main issue people have with this kind of games...

would uninstalling and then reinstalling everything help as i think i may have messed about with a few settings before i asked u guys, also i have heard people talk about jabo d3d7 but can only find d6 do u know if its any good?
Lastly does The OS affect anything as i use?

I know i have a lot of questions and its probably annoying but thx for your continuing help.

I may may have got Rice 5.5.1 working im not particularly sure how. There are one or two niggly things left which im not sure can be fixed such as the mask at the start flashing, lighting changing from dark to light and lastly the text becoming rougher looking in full screen, and flames look too yellow i think.

Any help with these minor problems if they can be fixed would be helpful :D .

well you can play around with the minor settings- increase textrect size, fine texture mapping- but like i said the flashing from a little darker to lighter happens with everyone as far as ive seen. it wasnt bad though.

As far as I'm aware, Jd3d6 1.5.1 is the latest, coming with the sp1 download for project 64.
