I have arrived at the snowvillage, and after i have bombed the biggest snowball, i have to melt the ice on the guy inside the snowball to set him free, But i cant!

I can also walk straight through the ice.. am i supposed to do this?

I can walk through the ice on the platform and drop down the hole to the hot water spring.

I fill a bottle of hot water and run like hell so the water doesnt cool .. i pour the water at the feet of the frozen guy, but nothing happens ..

What to do?

Btw . wich glidewrapper do you guys recommend to my graphicscard - GeForce 2 GTS ... i think i have a wrapper called evoodoo or something installed..

Well first off this is more of a gameplay question. This forum is intented for emulator related issues not gameplay questions.
Gamplay questions are best taken to www.gamefaqs.com.

However I'm a bit stumbled since you already found the solution.
Maybe try to run so close to the guy that Link himself freezes. Immediately after he his unfrozen again use the hot water bottle.
Worked for me everytime.

Um may I ask why you bother about Glidewrappers? UltraHLE is way behind all other major emulators (PJ64, 1964) so a Glide wrapper is not needed anymore.
Use D3D/OpenGL with a Geforce!
Glide plugins are really only interesting for Voodoo-owners for better performance. Glide-wrappers might only become interesting again if Dave or someone else releases a Glide plugin which has more features than the best D3D/OpenGL plugins. E.g. support for Dr.Mario, Tetris, Yoshi,... I don't see that one coming though.

No you are NOT!! This is a strange problem, since I could both be freezed by the ice touching it and melt it down with hot water... really strange even if now that I think about it, I think I played this part with 1964... I'm not 100% sure about this, however.

If you want to use SupraHLE with a glide wrapper, well I think the best for GF2 (at least, for MY GF2MX) are glid2eal (which I'm using) or evoodoo itself, wich you should upgrade to the latest version if you've not (latest version should be 3.1 or something), as it works better with winXP and is compatible with glide3x. Anyway, many people seem to prefer others, such Mglide, so feel free to try them to see wich suits better to your specs.

About the (un)melting ice roblem, well, I really don't know what it is due to, sorry

See ya

Oh, must have missunderstood ..

Just got back to N64 emulating after a two year pause .. and two years ago the only good working emulator was UltraHLE,
On the other hand my system included a voodoo 2 card then.

Nevermind .

Is it possible to load "state" from one emulator to another? .. ive noticed that project 64 creates huge "save"files.

Or can i do something else?

The guy i am supposed to unmelt, is going to teach me the first part of a song .. then i am going to play this part to a goron kid, and recieve the rest of the song from him .. i wonder what happens if i play the first part to the kid (i have the tones) without melting the old man?!

*edit*

Think i have solved the problem,
If i cheat, and give myself some firearrows, i can shot an arrow on the ice.. wich will melt.

Think the problem in all have something to do with the "No Collisions" cheat .. maybe it got hung up?!

Mmmmm....Beeeeerrrr
Cheat if you feel like playing around. But if you want to finish the game without problems, turn the cheats off because they sometimes mess up the game.

Yeah, I guess this is a possibility.

'bout save states: unfortunately, PJ and 1964 states are not compatible, neither native nor emulator's, however, there are two import/export functions under CPU menu in 1964 (you must check expert options in the preferences window to see them) wich convert to/from pj64 format, and when I tried it, it worked pretty well.

Well, glad you solved your prob ;)

Crap!!

Well, think yore right about the "cheating - messing up game" issue.

Is there any cheat in Majoras Mask, that stops time?

Stupid me has saved in a "no win" situation inside snowhead temple.
The minute-timer has begun counting down, and when i finally reach the boss i have less than three minutes left .. wich is to little time to finish him off .. what to do?!

I only have one state saved .. /me so f.cking dumb! :D
