Majora's Mask: FSAA Problem

I didnt even know what FSAA was until i saw that i needed to turn it off to play Majora's Mask. But i don't know how exactly to turn it off

My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X.

I've updated my drivers and installed the control panel for it, but when i turn Anti-aliasing off PJ64 will not open at all because it says my card is using options that make Direct64 or whatever not work.
I could not find an option to turn Full Screen Anti-aliasing off so can anyone help me by telling me how i can do this? (I followed the other instructions on the support site that say to use a recommended resolution for the rom, so now the only thing left to do is turn FSAA off)

If you will, email me at [email protected] with your help, to get it to me quicker than forums will, thanks

There are a number of ways to do this.

- You can disable AA via the NVIDIA Control Panel (Right click your desktop, NVIDIA Display). Open the Performance and Quality settings, and move the Antialiasing settings slider to Off.

- You can use a tweak application such as Rivatuner, Nvtray and others.

What i said was, whenever i turn AA to off, pj64 comes up with an error saying "failed to initialise graphics" and says something about my graphics options not support direct3D.

So i was wondering if theres an option somewhere to just turn FSAA off, im not sure. If anyone has anymore help for me then please tell me, but for the moment ill check out those apps

EDIT: Could you please link to them? whenever i search it comes up with lots of sites with stuff like that on, but no official site

I recommend you visit Guru3D (you can Rivatuner and updated drivers there), as it looks like you may possibly have a driver problem, as AA should work regardless.

Also, make sure you are using a suitable plugin for your card, such as Jabo's D3D6 1.5.2. It will give you better results than Jabo's D3D8 plugin.

I did something and now PJ64 wont open at all because of the error, I have turned AA back on and still it wont open, which didnt happen before i installed rivatuner. The problem I first had with the rom is the big black bar at the top that pushes the rest of the screen down, causing the bottom of the screen to be pushed out of sight. Then, i installed new drivers from the nvidia site and instead of the black bar, the top bit of the screen was stretched instead, but i still couldnt see the bottom bit of the screen. The pj64 tells me i should turn FSAA off, but when i turn AA off the way you told me, pj64 doesnt work at all
