Uhhh...well, currently the only ones that are affordable at all are intels itanium (actualy still pretty expensive) and motorolas powerpc. You can't run any x86 wintel software on them though. In a few months, AMD will be selling the clawhammer which is a 64-bit CPU that has both IA64 and x86 32-bit compatibility, and it will be priced for desktop systems. Intel has specificaly stated that they won't be selling any 64-bit processors aimed at desktop systems.
