Little question about the flicker...

(OFFTOPIC) First of all I want to ask a question that doesn't have to do with this thread in any way, shape, or form. What's with all these Paper Mario problems? The game runs perfect (I mean it RUNS perfect, not looks perfect, lol)and I haven't had ONE error with 1964.

(ONTOPIC) Ok, I have a problem. Why is it that many games including the Mario Party games and Paper Mario (well, what do you know...Paper Mario did have to do with my topic, lol. Sorry) have a BAD flickering problem with 1964? I recall that Paper Mario had the same problems with Pj64, but NOT Mario Party. Is there any way to fix the flickering. I get it with Jaboo AND Glide w/Evoodoo. Please help me someone.

P.S. Please don't tell me to use another plugin like Rice's, because I still have this cruddy S3 card.

well, apparently, flicker in many games in the new 1964 can be fixed by using either Schibos audio, or setting Jabo's to synch game to audiio. No idea why, but it seems to work for some people.

Flickering is usually caused by video plugin because of frame updating at incorrect time. Give glide64 a try, it has frame update control options.

grrrr. Glide64 may fix the flickering, but I have to use a 320x240 RES or else the game runs slow! That's pretty bad. I've tried using schibo and jaboo with audio sync and that doesn't work either. Darnit. Oh well.
