Legend of Zelda: OoT issues, please help!

Hi everybody,

I seem to be having an issue with Legend of Zelda: OoT using 1964.
When playing, everything runs fine (full frames, no skips), everything looks fine (no texture glitches or anything), but the audio is making this god-awful crackling sound. It's especially noticeable when you play the ocarina, or when there is a sound with a similar tone (like most of the music in the game). It's driving me nuts!

I noticed that when I tried the game on Project 64 and turned "Sync game to audio" on (jabo's dsound plugin), the sound was beautiful, no cracks or pops. So I believed the problem may be schibo's audio plugin. I then tried using Jabo's dsound plugin + the RSP plugin through 1964, but it was slow as hell. Is there a similar sync feature for schibo's audio plugin?

I suppose I could use Project 64, but I love 1964, and for me it's a much faster emulator so that's not really an option.

One other thing too, the pause screen takes forever to appear, and Link's image in the equipment screen is all corrupted, any ideas on how to fix?

I've made my best effort to search around the forums here for a solution, but there's nothing around. If i did happen to miss a fix for these issues, then i apologise!

I'm using:
1964 v0.9.9
Rice's Video 6.0.0
schibo's audio 1.2

System specs:
AthlonXP 2400+
1GB DDR SDRAM
ATI Radeon 9700Pro 128MB
Sound Blaster Live! Platinum

cheers to anybody that can help!

1964 currently doesn't support any plugin's implementation of audio sync, so you're out of luck there. The slow menu is fixed with a cheat. If it's not in the 1964 cheat database, then look through the PJ64 database and copy over the corresponding cheat.

At your service, dood!
Actually Allnatural that is not true, Azimer's plugins Sync to Audio just fine. Definately true of Azimers HLE Audio v0.55.1 Alpha.

You are, however absolutely correct if you try Jabo's sound plugin.. that will not sync to audio.

If you want to find Azimers HLE Audio v0.55.1 Alpha go to the apollo forum and view the thread named test, for Azimers 0.40beta 2 download an old version of 1964, it is included.

Here's a screenie to prove it, frame limit is off and it runs at around 57/58 vi's.

You're right, I totally forgot about that version. I had been using .40 Beta 2, which seems to work in some instances (BK) and not in others (SM64, OoT, etc.).
