Kazaa Shuts Down Kazaa Lite

Just thought people might be interested to know that Kazaa has shut down Kazaa lite k++. There is still the US$29.95 version avaliable, but understandbly most users feel a bit off using registered software to steal music. Meanwhile, the RIAA are shitting themselves laughing. :crazy:

I still have the latest version of the setup Kazaa lite K++ on my PC and still using it, no problem with that.

and of course, old news, but anyway, you know now ;)

I think since it went to a subscription for an add free version of kazaa things have gone down hill. I can rarely ever get a file anymore without it being remotely queued or more sources, which puts me in a real bind when I need some fast pr0n :p

I had read that Kazaa had threatened to sue the RIAA or something because the RIAA was using Kazaa Lite to find the users who were allowing tons of uploads.

Go fig, eh?

Either way, if Kazaa wouldn't cram their program full of spyware, people wouldn't to turn to something else. Kazaa can bend over and kiss their own ass.

I also here that the RIAA was putting fake music on Kazaa to catch people's IP and take them to court.

Probably. The methods the RIAA are using to catch people are just as iffy and bordering on illegal as most P2P software itself.

Rather sad, really.

Hm try using winmx to get any thing but mp3'2 and you'll be stuck in queue waiting for years,i just hate what has happened to winmx,i use to use it to get thundercat episodeds and stuff but now all you end up doing on there is wait forever then the person just goes offline.I would say stick with kazzalite or if you want use emule/edonkey if your high speed connection.
