Jabo d38 1.6 GoldenEye Surface - How to stop the blurring of trees?

I'm not sure if it's simply a matter of settings, but the top of the trees on Surface level blur and run. Basically they begin to cover the entire top part of the screen. It's something that I recall seeing before, not sure which plugin, but in Pefect Dark and the Skedar levels also. Same effect. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

D3D Clear to always? That fixes similar issues in other games, so worth a try.
