no, i don't think it should have one anything other than the ones that had to do w/ the scenery and fighting and such. There was nothing special about the acting and i sure as hell didn't think it should have won picture of the year. I was bored when i saw it in theaters. just my opinion.

maybe it means more to me because I'm a really big fan, and I love great scenery, but I think that it was a truly great film
on a side note, I think "O brother, where art thou?" should have won adapted screenplay when it was nominated. from the Odyssey to it's final product was simply amazing

it was a god movie IMO, just not a great one and, not the best film of the year (not to mention not containting the best editing, adapted screenplay and such and such), i believe, IMO that other films should have beaten it in many of the categories and that it did not deserve the 11 awards it got.
