Is this a bug?: Zelda: Ocinara of Time

I am playing Zelda: Ocinara of Time and have made it to Dark Link in the Water Temple. It seems as if he is unkillable. I have hit him so that he sort of falls through the ground (with sword, hammer, din's fire) but he just comes back to life. I have done this at least 5 times, more than once. He just keeps coming back to life.

Thinking I just wasn't doing something right I looked on the web on strategy's to kill them and none of them mention having to repeatedly kill him. Can someone tell me if this is a bug with Nemu or am I just missing something. Thanks.

he has as many hearts as you do, each hammer hit takes one heart away, it's about 12 hits, and lots if you have all hearts pieces

btw... man, how do you expect to kill a semi-boss without hitting him a lot?!

I get it now. Thanks for the help. What confused me was when I used thrust it would appear to hit him but he didn't do the fall down thing. I'm now past him and moving forward.

At your service, dood!
Theres an easy way to kill him...

step 1: Attack him with your sword
Step 2: Then quickly after doing step 1 hit him with the megaton hammer... it works almost every time....

he'll die quickly...

?????????????????????????
He'll almost never block the megaton hammer. The only thing you should NOT do, is to do a jump attack.
Magic works well as he cannot block that too.

For me Biggoron sword worked great !!
I've already finished the game,
almost no flaws except for about
3 cutscenes when only text and
gray static were displayed.
BTW, did somebody made a really high score
on gallery shooting (near 2000), and is there a way
or a cheat to make it easyer (had to get help from
my brother and savestates to get biggest quiver),
same goes to bug-catching game.
Well, the exact question (at least for bugs, but it could help
for the horse too) is can you slowdown the ingame timer
without slowing down the game, that is having more
time for your reaction.
