ive put my 40gb photo one up on ebay, sum1's already offerin to buy it for £200!

ipod's are gay... lol... sorry.... there are just way better mp3 players out there..... even the new video iPod is wack.... I rather go for iRiver 320 or iAudio which have better options out of the box

I currently own a 20 GB iRiver iHP 120 and iRiver H10.... just love them

Apple came out a bit too late with video mp3 player..... others mp3 players have and had that for like over a year now.... cough iRiver... cough iAudio..... lolz

but I don't watch video on the go.... so I don't care about it.... and if I really want to watch video on the go I can throw a movie or two on my 2 GB memory stick for Sony PSP.... or just watch videos in my car thanx to my carputer .....

so apple didn't really bring anything new to the table... they just have... hmm better..... marketing and a whole lot of silly ppl that buy into the hype

in other words... I am not impressed by it at all.... cuz others did it way ahead of apple

Ipods aren't bad, so why do you care? I don't have one, but they are pretty good. I've used them, but honestly, nothing compares to the GP2X, you get everything!

hehe I have a friend that has an iPod.... he is actually on his 6th one... because something always goes wrong with it... and he keeps on sending it back... over and over... lol... kind of funny....

but I don't care.... if other's like them or not.... I have my own opinion and I did my own research.... you probably did to... because you rather have GP2X over an iPod....

unless they do a few firmware updates to allow for more video formats and allow for non-drm'd videos to be played .. then it might be alright for a long car ride or flight. but who honestly wants to download a freaking music video? it's such a gimmicky device, all the new kids are going to bust a load on them but i expect it to be a letdown.

To add to that, don't forget that most of the world is still computer illiterate . and from what I heard, about 60% of the US still doesn't have internet, and maybe only 10% of the whole world has internet access.

jakob: i didnt say anything about people not buying drm'd music. but people buying episodes to play on a small ass ipod? mm... think again. most realistic consumers who buy it *may* soon realize how lame it is to watch tv shows/movies etc on their ipod. but to each their own

and a majority of pc users from ages.. i dunno. 13-25? have probably used a file sharing program in their life or know people that have.

Some ppl sure have problems with illegal content, others may not want to "endanger" their computers with the use of p2p and most do not know how to use a computer properly.
flow´´, just because we run emulators and sometimes get some illegal stuff (not me! ) it does not mean that everybody will, i agree wtih Jakob, it will be nice and the folks will use it, i know i want to.:bouncy:
