:term: I recently downloaded (Due to boredom) a cpl of n64 roms........... trying to play a few free ganes. Well i soon learned I needed an emulator to play them. After trying a few that well kinda sucked I came across PJ 64. The picture quality is amazing. Sound is ok but kinda choppy at times.BUT, this I can deal with! my problem is i can't get my gamepad to work on any game. Can you use a game pad with it??? I've tried 3 so far....they work fine on snes emulators and games. I read the user manual but saw no advice on this issue. Can someone please help me?

system: compaq pc: athlon 3200,nvidia 5500 video,z3 creative sound card, 1 gig ocz 333 ram, os-windows xp pro

THANX TO ANYONE WHO MIGHT CAN HELP :)

Controller is recognized by Windows?

Appropriate controller is selected from the drop-down list in the plugin?

Controller is then configured (in the plugin)?

"Plugged in" box is checked (again, in the plugin)?

You could have posted this in your last thread. The plugin should already be in the plugins folder if you have the service pack. If you don't have the service pack the I suggest you download it for better compatability. The service pack can be found in the downloads section of the forum.

PJ64 includes a very good input plugin. Read the help file if can't figure out how to configure it. N-Rage's plugin (pictured in cooliscool's post) is more robust than the default plugin, but basic configuration remains the same.

p.s. threads merged
