Yes, i'm a noobie. But I found this topic amusing...

...I was actually thinking about the possibility of doing something similar to this post idea, but with an Nintendo 64. You could call it an n64 emulation card. It would involved physcially stripping the chips, etc. off the n64 motherboard onto a PCI card, and engineering a driver and BIOS for it.

Of course, that probably would not work... :happy

Also, the GameCube isn't that remote of an idea. I saw a Dev-kit somewhere that allows development over USB...

Did anyone ever ask... "What's the point?". The best GC emulator on the PC is an AV input jack on your graphics card and a modded GC for you pirates. What's the point of the costs and bugs doing it any other way? Or is it more like those people who try to port linux to everything you never cared for linux on?
