mr blair actually seems to be keeping bush in check, if u notice its only AFTER blairs trip to camp david that bush agreed to talk with the UN about going after saddam... and did quite well, blair is absolutley brilliant at making things sound good, and getting a support grou behind all his decisions, just a shame hes a crap polotician without a clue about the real world

well they are back to their shit, they have said if the UN doesnt pass THEIR mandate then they will go it alone. Guess what one little bit includes, bush has the right to attack at any point without reason. He can just send his troops in and thats fine.

On the same note though, your either blind or naive to believe that saddam doesn't have weapons of mass destruction.
I am not actively opposing war, but, again, knowing that saddams weapons pose no threat to americans, and those who they do pose a threat to don't want americans to intervene, then we should not intervene.
While I agree with Bush's enthusasm, I think its safe to say that bin ladin is dead, and the remaining terrorist groups have been pretty well shook up. We got our revenge for 9/11, its time to stop. If we pull our troops out of the middle east, these terrorist organizations won't care about us anymore, and they can go do whatever they please, because its no longer any of our business. We don't need their oil, theres plenty of it elsewhere (alaska, venezuela, just to name a few).

Collateral dammage: you hospitalize him for 3 days and therefore he can't work to support his family for that duration.
If you let people hide behind their whims then they can get away with any damn thing they please. Besides, if this place was a war zone for so long, then there are likely only 2 groups there, those fighting for the taliban, and those fighting against it. Even the women and children are raised and involved in the war environment. Does the term sapper mean anything?

Well, seriously, I don't really dislike americans, but Bush gotta stop acting like he owns the whole freaking world...although he has power to take lifes doesn't mean that he has to use it...and does really killing more people solve anything? (like they will do if they invade Iraq...there's wasn't supposed to be any serious civil casualties in afghanistan, but there were almost more civil people killed there than on 9/11...)

and its not gonna be an easy war since its gonna be against Europe and Usa against Arabs and Mainly the Middle east though so i dont think that this will end happily or well

I'm done with this thread, I just think we need no further part in UN activities, and we shouldn't import anymore oil from the middle east until they reform.

The proper thinking here is whose economy would collapse first, ours or theirs? They are not our only source of oil, and I bet that there are some powerful groups who would overthrow saddam in a split second even without our help if it meant securing their own business.
