i got married and forgot how computers work (HELP!!)

hey everyone, i got married awhile ago and have been so busy with life.... when i just started geting back to normal i go to use my laptop and bam, it dosnt work, now my wife has so far spilled apple juice on it dropped makeup all over it and proubly some stuff i dont know about. but i doubt those are the reasons it isnt working, so ok heres the PROBLEM it dosnt boot up at all, i power it on and i hear two beeps like default beeps, nothing else blank screen its like right when i turn on the computer. now i know that asking what it is exactly is impossible im just looking for maybe some vauge hints in the right direction...like oh my harddrive melted or my screen dosnt work, or somethging like that, so if anyone has had this problem or anything like it lemme know.

oh yea P.S. my wife just told me as i write this that after this problem started it booted up for her ounce and froze on desktop........ virus maybe...i dunno?

You don't type and spell like a married man..

The cable to the lcd could be worn out making it look like nothing happens.. Or it could be broke, I you have had the luck on getting a virus that does format c:/ for you, do those even exist?, put in a WINXP disc and try to boot.

If its a toshiba theres a known problem with the connection between radeon video cards and the lcd display, you'd need to bring it into a licenced repair shop (if you want to keep your warrenty)

my computer used to do that, it would beep twice like it was starting up, then shut itself off without anything ever appearing on the screen. It usually would resolve itself if I left it alone for awhile. I believe it was overheating, but I'm not sure.
