Q: Whoa, Dolphin is running as fast as a pregnant snail, what am I doing wrong?
A: The Nintendo Gamecube is a very advanced platform and (todays) computers are not fast enough yet to emulate it with the techniques we use. So... you aren't doing anything wrong! Upgrading a CPU or GPU won't gain you much more performance (you will only gain 1-5 fps). IF you decide to upgrade just besure to get a 64-bit CPU and a GPU which supports (at least) 2.0 pixelshaders.

wow, amazing! i can post again

GC emus all use 100% of the CPU core to run, and it's not even enough to make it go full speed. it's normal.

10%? That would be 6 FPS which is very optimistic, especially for his laptop. Really, just forget about actually playing Zelda TP on your PC anytime soon.

6fps? What pc have you got?
(P.S.: doomulation i send you a pm for your avatar)

Another thing, do you think that with any future release of dolphin for x64 zelda will work?

i have a problem, too.

im not sure if everyone has this problem, because i didnt read anything about it, so im going to post it now:
on the titelscreen with intro, everything looks fine and beautiful(though, some things are black, like a part of the bridge - the one which will be, uhm, spoiler? - and some rocks. then i started a new game and ??? everything went black. the water is black, the beach is black, everythings black, except the characters and some gras. is that normal? does everyone have this? is there a solution to fix this?

thanks in advance!

EDIT: Seems its only happing in one scene...
