I tried many settings in the emulator yet it does not remedy this problem. It was working flawlessly on my Radeon 64 VIVO until i reformatted my computer and also installed the Radeon 8500. I don't know what the problem could be and i checked another thread somewhere in this forum with the same problem but didn't help much. Other Roms work just fine so it's just Conker...

System:
Win2k SP2
512 PC133 CAS2
ATI Radeon 8500
AMD 1.4Ghz
Soundblaster Live!

the error is probably correct, CBFD is probably the only 64MB ROM you have... as to why you don't have enough virtual memory free... no idea sorry.

Maybe I can help?

I got 3 PC, one of them got this problem when I load this game. I discovered that the PC I used to open the game was not enough space.

So, I delete or uninstall some PC games on the PC, it worked! Maybe, one of my PC less space than the others. Please try to delete one of the big program(useless) on your PC, it should work.

(I don't know it work on your PC or not please don't angry if this way can't help you)

see ya....

i still have about 9.5GB on the drive i have the emulator on, so i would think that is plentiful for any program to run on. Maybe i'll try changing the PJ64 directory to another....see if that will do anything. Oh, and the Virtual Mem is on 700mb, should be enough along with 512mb ram.

i think smiff is wrong, you should definitely have enough memory.

why don't you tell us what have you already tried? like did you use GoodN64? did you try to uninstall pj64's reg keys? did you delete the old radeon driver?

EDIT: btw, try to leave only Explorer in the taskbar and see if that helps (maybe even Systray)

Believe it or not, after copying the Whole PJ64 folder from D drive to E drive to run, Conker worked! I ran the PJ64 in D drive again, and that worked once again. The only thing i couldnt do was reload my saved games.

So, does it means not enough space in your drive?

Ikuto, you said after copying the Whole PJ64 folder from D drive to E drive to run, Conker worked!

If your drive got 1GB or 1.5 GB free space, the game should worked probably. So, does it means not enough space in your drive? I don't think so...

Anyway, congratulation...

no, my D drive has 9.52GB and E drive has 11.7. My virtual mem is set on 700mb on C drive. I have no idea why after copying it to E drive worked, then it worked in D drive also. Weird....

if anybody still has this problem i have worked out how to get around it
i had this problem on win2000 and winxp but not 98
so i made the emu run in win 98 compatable layer (properties, compatibility) and it works fine :D
