  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

How to rip textures from .z64 files into Jpegs/PNGs

I have used Project64 for a while now and I was wondering how this would be done.

Is there some sort of texture ripper program available that opens a .z64 file and extracts the images? Or is it simpler?

Basicly, I see a texture on a wall in an N64 game. All I want is it to be taken out of the emulator and convered into a Jpeg, PNG, or other editable image file. I just need to know how would you do this.

(I wish to do this for the Gex games, CBFD, and others)

Thank you so much for your help!!!!
:p

You should definitely be using PNG for texture related work. Just saying.

(Loseless, alpha channel support, good compression..)
