How to confirm Homebrew ISO?

I got couple of ISO's lying around(all of them were in NRG,CDI,BIN form) I mounted each of them through Virtual-CD AND Daemon tools but every one of them won't boot meaning the DC CD player menu comes out. Does this mean every one of my ISO's are "homebrew?"

Homebrew referes to games/programs that were made by ppl not companies for the DC, not if an ISO self boots or not. If your getting that screen then you'll just have to make your images selfbooting following the steps in this forum.
