How do you extract a .7z file?

i found the program 7-zip but i dident know you had to go to options and make it so it could read the 7z file. i figured it out 3 mins after i posted. lol

kamui, zhis (sic) question had already been answered, and Winrar 3.40 offered as a solution too.
