How do you disable default plugins?

I've just started using Project64 and I've noticed funny things happening in the games which I have traced back to being cause by the default plugins.

For example Doom64 has "/weapon black" applied as a default plugin and it makes the weapons blacked out. Annoying and pointless in my opinion.

I was wondering if there is a reason why these are set as defaults and if there is anyway to remove them.

Thx.

First of all, let's clarify something ;) The comments just mean that using your example "Doom" has issues with the default plugin - it doesn't mean it does this on purpose, just an issue that was logged. In other words it is saying, change the plugin see if anything else works better for this game.

Plugins can be downloaded in the downloads section.

Interesting.

What type of plugin should I be looking for that could fix problems like this?

All depends what type of system you have (graphics card is most important). If you have a Geforce/Radeon class card then it would be a good idea to check out GL N64.

Basically though go to the downloads section and download a few plugins and test them out :) You can then find a plugin to suit your needs.

I'll try that.

Currently I'm running a 2400 Barton CPU, Win XP and a Radeon 9600 Pro.
