How Come I Can't Use Animated Gifs Here As An Avatar?

I'm using an animated gif right now for my avatar but how come I can't change it to another animated avatar?

your sig reminds me of christmas lights.. good times.. and about yur avatar. Try to upload the gif to a server like imageshack.us then copy the url down, instead of uploading the gif to emutalk directly from your computer

Here's a little explaination from someone on zelda universe forums and they explain the three parts of the triforce and the reasoning behind why I had the three different colors.

Power is up the top,
Courage is to the right,
and wisdom is to the left.
You can find this out by looking in OOT(Zelda's hand, Ganon's hand ect) and by Din, Naru and Farfore.
Din is red and power and flies in front of Farfore and Naru.
Naru is blue and wisdom and flies to the left.
And Farfore is green and courage and flies to the right.

It took me ages to figure it out, but after playing OOT 4 times I think I'm right.
