lol no way.

i just took apart and cleaned all my gamepads since the beta was anounced initially and introduced as "probably sometime in november".

this way i'm ready for sure. :D

man, i'm not looking forward to anything right now, quite so much as the new 1964.

i must be a total geek.

heh, sometime in november.. interesting thought. Would be nice. Anyway. Netplay is starting to come together. Audio is nice and clean, Rice's video plugin keeps getting better and better. The core of the emu is pretty sweet, runs fast, and is pretty stable. We may be posting screenshots of netplay in the screenshots forum, if we can get around to it.

There are many beta testers, what are you talking about???

In fact if I remember correctly they had to reject people because everyone wanted to test

EDIT: If they distributed it to more people, then there might be more reports of problems, thats what Schibo wants, to perfect 1964. Too bad I have more midterms next week.

They will never release the day of its release, they probbably know it, but wont tell.

I also thought it was going to be done at this point as well. In fact I thought it would have been done a month ago, I did not think at the time that beta testing took all this time to do. I guess they want it so perfect that they will go as far as possible to keep things that way.

I know that Schibo's audio and Rices plugin have been edited a few times during the process, i sure hope to try the plugins, but more the fast core of the emulator.

Midterms are oveer for me after Saturday I hope that it is released this week, but it probably wont be.

I have heard rumours of Thanksgiving (US) and Christmas being possible release days, but no one really knows when the exact day will be

As long as this thing can get No Mercy working online I'll be happy. If this is going to be the final version of 1964 they might as well take as much time as they need.

Thanksgiving is usually the last Thursday of November in the USA (the 27th I think this year). I know in Canada; it usually is in the middle of October on a Monday.Schibo is in the USA, so I assume it means November.

Remember these are rumours, it may or may not come out before this date

Glide64 doesnt have the compatibility that Jabo's and Rice's plugins have. Although one must admit how good the quality is for the games that do work with Glide.

I think we are getting off topic.

Actually Glide 64 is about compatible if not more so than jabo or rice. I don't think I've tried any games that haven't worked for both plugins. In fact Glide 64 is the only plugin that supports Pokemon League Battle.
