hi rez wipeout 64?

Was just wondering, now that wipeout 64 texture problems seems to be sorted, can we see someone redo wipeout 64 textures in hi res? In addition, some of the graphics used are "incorrect" in terms of the wipeout series... the game is set in the 2097 era and uses some team logos from wipeout 1 with odd colours.. also the title screen font for the name wipeout is wrong.. I'd love to see all this corrected and the game look great as well as fast

heheheh...how are the textures wrong? That's how they made it and I'm sure they did it on purpose. Maybe different than the playstation. It probably would look pretty nice in hi-res though, a really fast game hasn't yet been done.

yeah I know that's how they made it, pretty annoying though.. it's like they just got sloppy for the n64 then made a super effort for wip3out...

if there's an "idiot's" guide to setting up the rice video plugin and how to extract and replace textures, I'd give it a shot... I wonder if it can be done? The only other game that fast is F Zero which i think has been retextured... (in fact f zero runs faster fps than wipeout)
