Hi Res Perfect Dark

I couldn't find an answer by doing a search so i thought i'd post my question. When you select Hi res from the options menu, my screen turns into a letterbox, with just the top half showing the picture, i thought if the expansion pack is detected, it should be full screen. Am i mistaken, or do i need to do something else to get Hi res working full screen?

The solution is that only the european rom shows hi-res mode correctly with Jabo's plugin. The US rom does exactly what thejew100 said in his first post.

Not like it matters, anyway... you're emulating at a fixed resolution that's already probably much higher than N64's maximum.

Yep, but hi res is also making the default N64 graphics res higher so you will get a little extra quality above the GFX-plugin res (instead of speed?).

Not as I understand it. The resolution is changed anyway so the original resolution is immaterial.
