Funny you should post this, as I also had to get a new chair a couple of weeks ago, which looks just like yours, as my old tacky one was literally falling apart (To the extent that I accidentally kneed myself in the face after slipping off it).

Yeah, my old one was in bad shape too. The plastic where the back attaches to its support had cracked long ago. Don't know what kept it on this long, but when I grabbed it to roll it out to the trash, the whole thing came apart in my hands.

hehe i also changed my chair recently after it tipped over and i hit my head. Actually it did'nt tip over, the back simply collapsed but i got a new black leather directorial chair
