I got dream cast since it came out, 200 dollars, now its broken and i have a bunch of games. i want to play them on my pc, i have chankast, bios, and blank cds, so can someone please tell me step-by-step directions to playing my original dreamcast games on my ps. o ya, my pc passes all the requirments,

There's no way to get your games on your PC without a working Dreamcast, but you can just search for some games [don't ask us to supply them to you] and download them. I must warn you that it is only legal for you to download the games that you have bought legitamately yourself. Once you finsh downloading the images, mount them, and use Chankast to play them on your PC. Chankast isn't perfect, and it may never be, but it's the best thing if you want to emulate DC on your PC.

Have a look at my site: main site is now here or go here if you want to dump your DC games via CD/DVD drive. It's a bit lengthy, but I've re-structured it all now so it shouldn't be too difficult to understand.

Also take note of the Disclaimer in some of the pages. Too bad if you are not in the UK though, because I'm not a lawyer and so I don't know what the backup situation is in every other country in the world. But, if you've got a drive that can dump the games without any corrupted files, then you can at least enjoy them in Chankast without downsampled audio or with those crash-initiating intro sequences that dumping groups tack onto their releases =P

EDIT: You might notice the "old guide" mentioned on both pages - I wouldn't recommend using it, it's too big, and the layout is hideous. But I just left it there in case others don't like the new split documents.
