Help!

For some reason, when I try to play roms, it says the file is missing or corrupt. I tried to extract the rom also, but it had no files. What do I do?

Well, you might start by posting at the right forum...

Anyway, how about telling us what emulator are you using, what is the game, and what does GoodN64 has to say about this rom.

Project 64 is the rom, its for Starfox 64, and Zelda (Ive tried three roms and none worked they had the same effects) so im thinking its something im supposed to do. When I try to zip it says no files to zip.

You're not making much sense. You try to extract the rom and it says no files are present. You try to zip the rom and it says there are no files. Is there a rom anywhere on your computer? Maybe the files are woefully corrupt. Find a new download source, that's the best I can offer.

also make sure you update your rom browser by pressing f5
