help trouble with vms memory card emulator thing

it says there is no free spaces so when i try to import a save it tells me there is no room for the save

please help me

Did you format the memory card? If not, this is done by starting chankast without a game loaded so you get the bios screen. Then on the bios screen choose file, then pick a memory card and format it. Just like in a real Dreamcast.
