Well, im new here and to the emulator PJ64, and for some reason, the sound on it is choppy. On SM64 its just fine, but on CBFD and Carmegeddon(worse then CBFD) it can get pretty annoying. any help? And on CBFD, when in cutscenes or zoomed in kind of close to concer, his head except forehead and half of tail are white. Thanks in advace

This is your problem most likely...

For smooth sound you need 60fps for NTSC (U, J) roms or 50fps for PAL (E) roms. You should also make sure "Sync audio to Game" is set in the sound options. But unless you have the required frames it's pretty useless anyway.
Maybe it helps a bit to check "Change blending mode if invalid for graphics card" but you probably shouldn't bother until you figure out what graphic card you have and obtain the newest drivers for it.

Just look in system, devices on windows or open up the computer and look inside. You probably have just some onboard video.

i do get 60 fps, its usually between 55 and 70. I have the limit fps on, and the sync audio to game is on. Also the change blending mode thing is on. how would i find out my graphics card. there is no devices thing under System in windows!

I've gone to HPs site and looked up your PC model and it could have any series of video cards. to help us out Right click on Mycomputer, goto properties. Click on the devices tab (In win2k/XP click hardware tab then device manager). Click the down arrow on Display Adapters and tell us what you see.

ok thxCheckPlz

thats what I thought. Your video card is very very horrid. You should be playin games with Corn, PJ64/Apollo/1964 all require a better video card then that.

You are below min spec for N64 emulaton, but there is hope! Go buy a better video card, a GeForce based, or a newer Radeon.

I'm only using self-built computers for years now. Only hand-picked components. :satisfied:
