Help! Pj64 1.6/1.7

I need help getting Projesct 64 running on my Windows XP PC.
I used to play it all the time a year ago and it worked fine (a little slow)
Now i just reinstalled it and it is not working
i have not put any new hardware in since i have last used it but have had to format my PC once.

I have 1.6 and 1.7.0.55

The plugin for video/graphics on 1.6 is: Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6
For 1.7 is: Jabo's Direct3D8 1.7.0.55

When i try to start-up 1.6 i get this error messege:

Then i get this:

Then on 1.7 i can get it to the rom selection screen no prob. but then when i select and try to load it i get this error messege:

If anyone knows how to solve this plese respond!

How would i do that?

Well, first you need to know what kind of graphics hardware you have and then you download the driver update from the manufacturer's homepage and install it.

And if you didn't donate to get access to Project64 1.7 beta, you can DIAF.
