help me on ocarina of time

this thing really pissed me off, I´m on Ganons castle so there is a rock that u need to grab so u can go into the room and destroy the laser, so I get into the angel where it says grab I press grab but nothing happens, I try it with other rocks and othr stuf and it works normal but with that rock link dosn´t grab it any help plz!

If I understand you correctly, you need the Golden Gauntlets.
