Graphics question

For now i've replaced my geforce2 ti with a ati rage 128 aiw for video purposes. Trying out pj64 i've noticed a lot of bugs that are related to it being a non-nvidia card. I was considering my next purchase to be a radeon 9000 pro, do the radeon cards still have the graphics issues of the earlier ati range (white link, etc...)?
