graphic - speed problems

uh oh... problems all time...
i played wcw nwo revenge and it was alright
i had 48-55 fps in game
but yesterday i installed divx total pack (coz i formated hard drive)
and since then everything is so damn slow !
my fps gets down to 30

i have 1.3 Ghz cpu, GF4 with 64 RAM, and 256 SD RAM


why this happens ?

Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date - formatting usually reverts to the most basic of drivers.

i have latest drivers and only fix is uninstalling any video codec i have

no directshow should have nothing to do with direct3d hmm

codec packs are a bad idea generally btw.

edit: this is OT, but i watch movies with ffdshow.

then how do you intend to wach divx/xvid movies ?
