Before I say anything, Ima let you all know Im a nooby at this kinda thing...but I need help! I open the Legend Of Zelda rom and as its playing...In the top right corner, I notice a box of one solid color slowly going over it when hes riding the horse (right when you open it & after it shows the nintendo logo)

I was thinking "Okay, maybe just at that part?"...then as Im playing the game itself, alot of things are being blocked by numerous of those solid colored squares? (for example, the hearts for the life bar, some attacks I do, If I get hit, those fairies in the village, ext.)

and I dont know wat to do? I tried wit wat it gave me so I can fix it & the other Graphics things either slow it down or takes away most of the graphics away.

if this helps, I got it on "Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6" which is the one wit tha blocks, weird thing is, it works fine besides that & tha audio...

& if its got something to do with my Intel chip thingy too? then heres the name: Intel(R) 82810E Graphics Controller

my computer is a Windows XP Home Edition....any more info you need, I'll look it up, but I kinda need help....help a brother out!

I checked & I dont see the file... I checked the game for jabo's directs & I got Direct3D6 1.5.2

when I play the game with it, it looses ALOT of color & pictures (including the N64 Logo at the begining)

If thats it then it aint working. I browsed this site in the plugin's section & looked for Jabo's stuff and the link to the "Official Site" dont work. What do I do now?

You could try updating your graphics drivers and sticking with Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5.2.

I don't think you will ever get it looking as good as it can be, as you have a very old Intel chip there with a terrible featureset. You can't really use Glide64 + eVoodoo with Ocarina of Time as the lack of multi-texturing and framebuffer emulation in the current eVoodoo kinda kills the look of it - but that combination may look better in games like Diddy Kong Racing.

Thanks for the info. I kinda figured it had something to do with that, but I was in denial. Its like a motorcycle with a dead battery saying it can still work. I'ma get me a new chip & see wat happens next. I aint that good with computers but I needed that information, thanks again.:D :afro:
