What's new

Graphic Plugins are not working

I recently bought a new video card for my computer so I could play Project 64 games, but when I tried Conker's Bad fur day, all I could see were his eyes, his shoes, and sometimes his tail. I tried using Jabo's 1.52 and I could see everything except what I saw with Jabo's 1.6. My video card is an NVidia e-Geforce 4 MX 4000 64 mb PCI.

System specs: Windows XP pro, 320MB DDR ram, 18 GB hard-drive, wireless internet card. Not the best, and it does freeze a bit, but it's the best i've got.

Please do help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

erm well a GF4MX does not have pixel shaders afaik, but 1.5.2 video should be ok with the right drivers.. someone posted before which version worked well, i think it was nvidia 5x.xx ?

the above is incorrect. NV17/18 is a DX7 card.

v1.6 video plugin is a DX8 plugin. PS v1.1 is enough in nearly all situations.
BUTTABALLA999 you have two (or three) options:

1) use v1.6 plugin with legacy pixel pipeline option
2) use v1.5.2 plugin (probably better)
3) use some other plugin completely (which we can't help with sorry)

either will need good driver support.. try 5x.xx.

Damnit! I never get the grip on the shader versions on the GF4 cards ^^
nVIDIA made it a little confusing. The Geforce 4 MX series was actually just an updated GF2 MX, thus it has no Pixel Shaders. Hope that clears things up.
