my point was that it is MUCH harder to hit high range notes on the trumpet with bigger mouthpieces, 1 1/2 c is MUCH harder to use than a 7c to hit high range notes, thats just what i was getting at cheating mouthpieces: custom bobby shew mouthpiece Flat as a door
