Graduation schmaduation. Over here graduation is just like... great... school's done. No big ceremonies or bullshit. I think some of the American malarky is a little bit... overly American.

In any case, I've got another year of misery ahead before I'm done. Which is a nice prospect to face as you wake up every day, as you can imagine.

And right now... I'm doing shitloads of massively important exams! Yeargh!

I hear you US folks leave school a year later than us britons. I'm 19 and already completed my 1st year of Uni :p

I have some nasty tests coming up, I'm particularly worried about Biochemistry, Embryology and Microbiology and then I'm free for the Summer! :D

I hope you guys have a big celebration, and stay on at school - you know you want to!

I've heard that too, Clements. I'm 18 now, graduating from high school. Lots of stuff different in the US when compared to Britain, I guess. ;)

I'm 18 and I am just finished my first year of college. I hate it though because the college I go to doesn't have any real major I'm interested in so I have to go with Computer Networking which is easy as hell.

P.S. Congratulations to everyone graduating this year.

why not transfer then to somewhere with a major you like?

Looks like I'm not the only one who will take exams in the Defficult-As-Hell Anatomy(Man..I cant stand all these muscles & nerves :stupid: ) and Bio :cry:...Sigh..Its still my first year..Long time before graduation..

Because I don't really feel like going out of the state where I live just to go to college and other colleges around here just plain suck.

My little brother is graduating this year... he just had his grad ceremony on Friday, but he doesn't finish school for a couple weeks.

I graduated when I was 17... at what age do the people in usa/england/anywhere else graduate?

Over here you CAN leave school when you're 16, after GCSE exams, but that's only if you want to go to *college* to do A-Levels or go straight into work.

Otherwise, you spend two more years in school in what's called 'sixth form', doing A-Levlels.

Post A-Levels, again you can either go into work or, from there, go to university when you're 18.

I did a hybrid of option 1 and option 3... kinda

Left school at 16 and started work, but ive been at "college" and then "uni" since working towards a degree.
