What's new

Goldeneye....

Okay, I'm having a few graphical problems with Goldeneye.
None of them are very serious, but I was just curious to see if there were any settings to tweak.
Anyways, mostly what it is is certian textures, mostly things such as glass and doors, walls and floors see to be fine.
Also, the enemys are blank white polygons.

Plus, the sound skips, and it's a tad slow, but that's not a big problem.
Any help greatly appreciated.

What are your computer specs? Glitches like that tend to happen on low-end graphics cards like Intel, ATi Rage Pro etc. Make sure you have the very latest drivers for it.

Goldeneye 007 is one of the most demanding N64 games to emulate, so needs a very fast processor (good graphics card seems to help here a bit too) for a decent speed, so try 1964 and not PJ64 for this game as it is a faster emulator.

Yeah...problem with that, is I can't seem to find the Z button on 1964.
And, in goldeneye, Z is fire.

The Great One
PJ64 is slow for any Rare game if you have a processor like mine (1000MHz), anticipate to use 1964 for any game by Rare, it is best for emulating them. (DK64 is still screwed up, but rumour has it that it is perfect in the new version, if it ever gets released)

Copy Jabo's Input (or the input plugin you are using with PJ64) to 1964's plugin folder. Now the configuration for both 1964 and PJ64 will be identical.
