I'm glad we've fianally got the movie recording feature working with glide64 :) The video looks good and the reality is even better with the video working and everything. I hope i'll get this depth buffer issue fixed in my wrapper...

the RE video looks cool!
only strange thing is that the 3D objects seems to vanish every here and then?
Is this supposed to be like in the original N64 game or
an Emulation issue?
or a recrding issue?
Still very cool Moive, this feature is AWESOME!!

I had used my Voodoo2 to make this video. So it will work with your V2 too, but not so fast (video is recorded with 30fps regardless of real speed).

I bandwidth is a problem, it would probably be a good idea to distribute this by bittorrent rather than trying to compress it again and again....

Doomulation

?????????????????????????
Perhaps. But Bittorrent has its drawbacks as well. And some can't be bothered to download the client.

It's just an alternative Doom - we all know some people are too lazy to download a client in order to use quite a viable distribution method. Can't think of any other drawbacks....

And as long as people distrubute it, or are downloading it so other may recieve it. And I don't know how to create torrents to make them available for download.

BitTorrent clients (and files) are high-risk IMO. For one, if you're caught downloading BitTorrents, and you get caught, you're screwed. Another reason I don't like using clients, the connection from the PC to the Torrent is flakey, even on a Cable Internet connection. I think it would be infinitely easier just to put a link to the .zip/.rar file on a thread. But, hey, this is just my opinion, so bear with me.

you arent screwed if you download legal stuff with it

Bit Torrent is no more illegal than an Internet connection. It's not the technology that is illegal but what people download using it.

I seriously doubt there is any chance of getting into trouble by downloading a video of a nintendo game made via a plugin....

of course bittorent is NOT illegal and the reasons pointed above are "reasonable" :D
but what i wanted to ask:
(i was ignored before :( wrong topic?? )
Regrding the RE2 video:
strange : the 3D objects seems to vanish every here and then?
Is this supposed to be like in the original N64 game or
an Emulation issue?
or a recording issue?

I hope i get a answer this time ^^

There's really nothing to worry about even if the torrent was illegal. Most trackers automatically block and ban any "suspicious" IP anyway.

Yeah, Bittorrent is perfectly fine. You can download a torrent for 3dmark05 from the official web site. Downloading copyrighted movies/music is where the illegal part comes in.
