  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Getting Hi Res textures onto Mario 64....

Hello.

I have been editing textures for mario recently and stumbled accross a couple of Hi res mario mods. I would realy like to play mario in this qaulity but have been having problems getting the textures on mario. First i tried using toads tools texture editor but when i added the hi res texture in and played the game (i tried editing trees first) the tree were mostly missing.

I'm running project 64 and i have installed Rice's video plugin but have been unable to locate the BMGlib file?

Appreciate any help thanks Adam

BMGLib.dll should come with Rice's video plugin (at least the one with high resolution texture support) and said file goes into the emulator folder, not the plugin folder.

Anyway, this is not a Project64-specific problem.
