I just bought it:

Yes, I know that the 6600GT is better guys, but I can' afford it, and I can't buy at a cheaper place like Newegg. I have searched for trustful reviews about my card but I can't find one from a trusty site. Could you please post one? Also I'm looking for benchmark comparison between a regular 6600 (like mine) a 6600 GT, a Radeon 9600 XT, and a crappy GF FX5200 (if possible). Please post some, I cuk searching those things on google.

yeah, i'm getting hate with this stupid card. i hope to get one better until the christmas lol. know, it is not a baaaaaaad card, but it is so limited. as an original newbie, when I bought this pc, I ordered everything, but I hadn't any idea of a good video card. When I saw GF "4", i thought it was the latest and best card out there, then I bought it... :evil: :( . now go back and laugh this one :p

I don't envy because my graphics card is still better! Just Kidding... good purchase, it's better than what you used to have I can assure you of that :D

Benchmarks look good, got this from the page Clements posted, 50fps on doom 3 is pretty fine if you ask me! It's probably at least triple what you used to get.

Indeed. You can sort of gauge the performance of a FX 5200 by keeping in mind it's about half the speed of the FX 5700 that is used in the test.

Those of us who have owned the card or still do can tell you how lousy it is, no need for a benchmark to tell you how much it sucks, just ask me and I'll tell you. :p

I still have it, in fact the 6600 is on its way through here... BTW thanks to Gent for the info. If anyone owns a 6600 around here please share its perfomance experience and overclocking if you do it...

Well I have a GT not a plain 6600. But with this card I get a constant 60 FPS on doom 3 with medium settings. It goes down to about 30 on high. And on UT2004 I get perfect speed with the absolute highest settings on. Hope this helps.

Pfft, you're such a fanboy. Who cares how fast your graphics card is as long as it runs the games you want to play fine?

You don't see me bragging about my CPU all the time because its fast
