Well after working a long time I made the emu able to run GBC color games as well. Here is some more info from the FAQ file :

First beta release date : 06/12/2001
Second beta release : 13/12/2001
Official first release date : 16/12/2001
Third beta release date : 27/12/2001
Re-release date : 01/01/2002
Well , the first release of the GBX Player a
freeware GBX emulator for Windows by ZeRo was
a failure but it will be re-released soon.
After working nonstop on the emu for the last three
months Zero achieved a part of what he was trying
to realise to make an emu which can play all Gameboy
games thus meaning GB , GBC , GBA games. Well Zero
initially choose to make three seperate emus and went
one with his work but then reconsiderd and began making project
GBX.On 04/12/2001 Zero completed his GB
emu two days later he gave the beta testers the beta.
They were amazed how good it was but they also informed
Zero of some bugs. The following 7 days Zero worked really
hard to get the bugs out which he eventually did. After ironing
the bugs out Zero send out the second beta to the testers.
They found the emu working even better then before and therefore
Zero released the emu three days later on the Emutalk forums.
Two days later his PC totally crashed thanks to m$ for
a security comprimise on Windows Xp(People could easily acces
your PC and infect your PC with virusses or something else)
well this happened to Zero and due to that :
- the emu couldn't be downloaded
- Zero's FTP server got ruined
- Zero lost all his progress
Zero tried everything possible to get Win XP working again but
nothing worked. Then Zero tied to install Win 98 SE over Win XP but
this was almost impossible but eventually he achieved it.Zero then
restarted his project , he worked on the emu for almost a straight
week only stopping to eat and drink when he abso;utely needed to and
then on 26/12/2001 he finished another beta which he sended to the
testers the next day. But we were suprised to see a new addition to
the emu :
- It was able to play GBC Roms as well now and at full speed without
any GFX or sound probems.(Comment by Zero : Sorry that the emu came a
little bit later then expected (I wanted it to be a christmas present
but due to some m$ issues this wasn't able) but I still hope you like it)
He also decided to take a little rest for the coming days and planned a
Public Re-release for : 01/01/2002
And Zero added : I'm now gonna start on GBA emulation but that isn't that
easy so it might be a while till another release
but I'll to finish it as soon as I possibly can
The new features :
- GBC Emulation !!! (ZERO : Yes it's possible to play GBC color games
as well as of version 0.25. To do this go to Options then Emulator and select
Gameboy Color.)
- Support window and full screen modes (Uses DirectX) (ZERO : One standard
size plus a full screen mode)
- Can play the exact same sound as a real GameBoy Color (ZERO : Nuff said)
- Joysticks are supported (ZERO : Joypads are supported but you need
to use a keyset manger program were you can link the joypad buttons to
the desired keys or you must have a USB gamepad which installs itselfs.)
